Operations Manager, School Support Services

What You’ll Do:

The Operations Manager for School Support Services will guide School Based Speech Therapists in supporting the mission of The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning, manage the School Based therapy team to ensure consistent quality in all aspects of school operations including educational delivery to serve more children. She/He will also interface with School Based Speech Therapists, the CEO and the management team at The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning to ensure positive, professional relationships with partner school districts, team members and affiliate companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop school based SLPs and SLPAs that support the mission and vision of The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning
  • Implement Onboarding Plan for new School Based therapists and support ongoing training and professional development
  • Use Strategic Plan to establish and implement annual goals for school based therapy services department
  • Support, coach and manage school based therapists to successfully deliver all tools, resources and initiatives to schools and achieve performance measures
  • Establish and oversee budget within guidelines provided by CEO and CFO
  • Partners with Education and Brand Management teams to provide scalable support for Market Level Business Co-Ops to influence overall market performance.
  • Approve all travel and business expenditures for the school based therapy team
  • Maintain The SPEAK Center Brand Standards to promote Parent Advocacy, Loyalty and Satisfaction
  • Approve time logs and send invoices to schools for school based therapy team
  • Acquire new contracts for school based therapy services
  • Send invoices to schools for all services performed by school based therapy team
  • Analyze therapist performance including submission of time sheets, completion of notes and medicaid billing
  • Evaluate Therapist Billing on a daily basis
  • Assist with training and support
  • Comply with Federal (if required), State, and Local Licensing and Regulatory Standards
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the quality and implementation of Primrose programming and Balanced Learning Curriculum promoting early learning and well-being.
  • Engage in and participate in local school events, recruiting events such as conferences for industry professionals
  • Establish, update and implement Operations Support Methods and Procedures
  • Participate in planning of team building activities and events
  • Develop and review with CEO any building re-configurations or prototype plans and proposed changes for approval purposes
  • Follows up with school based therapists and school district representatives on all reportable incidents
  • Evaluate performance of school based therapists following company adopted guidelines and current performance measures in regard to salary and career growth
  • Work with RFP writer to source and create Requests for Proposals
  • Work with recruiter to recruit new therapists for open positions
  • Review contracts for therapists and assist with onboarding
  • Serve as a liaison between interns and university personnel
  • Complete onboarding process for all interns working with school based therapy team
  • Gather and analyze data to make informed choices that impact the organization
  • Enforce company policies and manage compliance
  • Manage communications, scheduling and meeting logistics for district partners meeting with the CEO.

  • Four-year college degree and comparable field experience preferred
  • Ability to manage, direct, and motivate speech therapy professionals working in the educational setting
  • Experience and knowledge in special education, specifically in Arizona
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organization, and management skills
  • Must have proficient computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft office software including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and solution focused with the ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sales background

Compensation: $52,000/yr-$62,000/yr
